Would my insurance be affected?
by Helen

My sister borrowed my car for the first time and got into an accident and she is at fault. Whose insurance cover the damage, mine or hers? and would my insurance in any way be affected?
Borrowed Car and Accident
Hi Helen
Please discuss this further with your insurer ... This is the downside to lending your car out. It goes through your coverage and it could affect your rates (most likely it will).
Please be sure to discuss this further with a licensed insurance representative.
