Transferring car to my dad

Hi,
I own a car and my dad owns his. We live in the same house. My dad's car is very old and I want to give him mine. Is he able to be the primary driver on both cars while I be the second driver?

Your insurer will likely insist that each of you are assigned to a vehicle as a primary driver. But you can ask about it and explain your situation.
