Time Line for Home Visit to do an "Inspection"?

My insurance company is insisting on a home visit to do an inspection to make sure we have enough coverage. First time they've done this in 20 years. We are in the middle of renovations. I want to wait until renos are complete. They insist on doing it now as outlined by the Canadian Insurance Bureau. I can't find any info that states this.
