ticketed in another province

I got a ticket four years ago in another province. It was for going 20km over the speed limit, but in that province they automatically suspend your license for a week in addition to the fine. (Honest, that's all that I was doing!) I know the insurance companies stop considering speeding tickets after three years, but they ask about suspensions in the last six years. Is this relatively minor offence really the kind of suspension they are referring to? The penalty in Ontario would not have included a suspension, so does that information matter here to insurance companies?

The way the question is asked, you are supposed to disclose it. It is unlikely that anyone would ever discover it. But you are supposed to disclose ...
That said, a suspension of less than one year is not supposed to affect rates.
