Three cars, two parents, one young driver
by Bill
(Ontario)
Hello,
If we have three cars in one household, can one parent have two cars under their name and the other have the third car or does each licensed driver have to have a car insured under their name?
Can't the young driver get an occasional drivers insurance?
Thanks
Three Drivers, Three Cars and Insurance
Hi there,
Once you have three cars and three drivers (all three being G or G2 licensed), you will have to have each assigned as a primary driver to a car.
If you had two cars then the younger driver could be an occasional driver instead of primary.
