theft

by vikash la
(surrey bc canada)

why do insurance companies not explain about the policies when we buy them and leave us in dark and what can we do about that when we are suffering from a big theft situation and they are not ready to explain or solve our problem and only to say is sorry?

Insurance Policy - No Coverage

Hi Vikash,

It sounds like you weren't covered for the theft? Most policies cover that as a core part of the coverage. So there must be more to the story?

It's too bad your agent or broker didn't explain your coverage. Most would like to, but some clients are just interested in the lowest price. But it sounds like yours didn't try... which is too bad.

Have you tried reading your policy wordings to understand why the theft isn't covered?
