Suing for losses

I was in an accident and was at 0% fault. The other driver was charged. I did not have collision on my car insurance because I bought it for $3000 almost 3 years ago. Can I sue and reclaim the cost of buying another car because my car insurance company says my car is a write off?
Not at fault - no Collision
Hi Robert,
If you're not at fault, then you're still covered under Direct Compensation Property Damage. You need to contact your insurer and put in the claim. Your car might not be worth a lot if you bought it three years ago for $3000. But it's worth a call to your insurer.
