Speeding tiket

Hi,
I live in Ontario, I just got a speeding ticket in Quebec.
My friend lives in Quebec and informed me that she never got affected on her insurance for getting a ticket in Ontario.

Will it be the same situation? Will the speeding still affect my insurance?

Out of Province Speeding Ticket

Hi Marie,
If your insurer doesn't find out about the ticket, your rates won't change. Out of province tickets do not always show on your record.
