Small business operator and commercial insurance
by Allan E.
(St. Catharines, Ontario)
I'm owner of a small business. My license is under suspension due to a medical condition, can I insure a company vehicle and have one of my workers as the primary driver. Also, can i register my company vehicle in my business name without a valid drivers license. Thank-you.
Business Auto Insurance in Ontario
Hi Allan,
If the company owns the policy, you should be able to buy the car in the company name and insure a worker as a primary driver, leaving you off the policy. If you are a incorporated it should be doable. Get some quotes and check around first. I hope you get well soon.
