Secondary Insurance on father's second car

My father owns two cars both of which he is the primary insurance holder on. He lives alone and I don't have a car. Can I be put as a occasional driver on one of his cars?

If you live with him, his insurer might want to class you as a primary on one vehicle. But if you don't live with him, they should let you be an occasional.
