Roof wind damage

I suffered wind damage to my roof and have several shingles that are missing. Can you let me know how the insurance company will handle this claim?
Thank you
Missing Shingles
Hi Carol
I have seen this same scenario treated very differently by different insurers. If the roof is old and due for replacement some will not offer coverage. If the roof is brand new and there is no warranty, then you should expect good service from your insurer.
Your claim will be subject to your deductible and you will lose your claims free discount if you have one.
