Road Trips - Sharing the Driving with a Friend
If I share the driving responsibilities with a friend for an extended road trip, is my friend covered under my insurance policy since we will be driving my car?
Road Trip
If you give permission to someone to drive your car, and they are authorized by law to drive, then yes, there is coverage in effect.
If this is a regular occurrence or this road trip is longer than a couple of days, you should discuss with your broker as the other driver should be added to the policy.
