renewal time frame??

Hi:
Is there a mandated time frame, prior to renewal in which I should receive this new info from my insurance company for auto and house insurance renewal? I used to receive both renewals together at least one month prior to renewal, but that is no longer happening and I would like to get new quotes elsewhere. Please advise. Thanks.

Some insurers, or brokers, are slow with the paperwork. 35 days is the norm.
