Removing road coverage for an short period

My mother-in-law is in the hospital and we don't know how long she'll be there. She is on a fixed income and we were hoping to save her some money. Would her insurance coverage be affected if we took road coverage off her car and left fire and theft in place?

Hi there
The answer to your question is yes, if you reduce coverage to fire and theft then that's all that is covered (ie you can't drive the car).
But when the coverage is put back to normal there should be no adverse affects on her policy or rates.
Hope that helps
