My home insurance got canceled due to non payment, I was told by 2 brokers that no insurance company in Ontario would insure me, but I was told by another broker this was not true and that it was illegal not to insure a person in Ontario Refused Canada Home InsuranceHi Debra, It will not be easy to get insurance, but you should be able to. Obviously if one broker told you that is not true then you have a quote from them already. Or at least you should.
