Putting a child on insurance as 2nd driver
(Ontario)
can I insure a car under a business then insure two cars personally and have a child as a second driver
Second Driver Question
Hi There,
The answer is: "That Depends ..."
- on your insurer
- on the number of drivers
- is the car legitimatly for business?
Let's say there are three drivers, you, your spouse and your son. Lets also say that one car is legitimatly used for business. Then yes, you should be able to have one listed for business and then you and your spouse listed as primary oprtors for the two personal use vehicles and your son as a secondary.
Not sure if that is your situation though!
