Partime driver is charged for impaired driving
My son who is listed as a partime driver had an accident with my vehicle and was charged allegedly with impaired driving.The insurance company refuses to pay for damages to my vehicle.Is this legal.

The news is bad. One of the exclusions in your policy is for damage caused by an impaired driver who is driving the insured car (Section 7.2.2). That said, I believe this applies on conviction, not on the allegation. It sounds as though you need proper legal advice. That's not what this site provides...
