Ownership of car different from person taking out the loan
(Toronto, Ontario)
My son is taking out a loan to buy a car, that he and I will both be using. My husband and I also have a van, currently in my husband's name. If I put the car in my name, but the loan is in his name, can I still put myself as the principal driver and him as the occasional?
Principal Driver
Who ever is going to drive the car the most can be listed as the principal driver. But if he owns the car, and will be driving it the most, he should be the principal.
