Out of province license and car registration
I moved to Toronto, Ontario about 5 years ago. I still have my car and license registered under my out of province Ministry of Transportation Dept. I finally want to switch my papers to Ontario and start paying Ontario insurance, registration and license. The fact that I've waited 5 years to do so, will this affect my chances of getting an insurance policy, an Ontario license and car registered with MTO?
Thanks!
Switching Vehicle and License to Ontario
Hi there
Despite being about 58 months late on this, you should be able to get insurance and get the car registered without too much trouble ... trying to think if there's a surprise coming for you ... but not coming up with anything! I imagine you're expecting problems, and I won't say there won't be.
