One driver - two cars
(Ontario)
Wanted to buy another car. Just received a quote from my broker: $1400 (my current car), getting rid of current car and buying the other one - $1700 (although it is as safe as the first one according to IBC), keeping both - $2800. Does it make any sense? Why do the premiums almost double, I cannot drive two cars at the same time? I am the only driver in the household.
Two Cars
One idea... if you only drive one car weeks at a time ... reduce coverage on the other car while it is "off the road".
