Hi. i used to have insurance on my truck for 2 years. i canceled because i sold my truck and have not had any in twenty years. i am trying to get insurance now but they say i need my old policy to get better rates. problem is the insurer retired about 15 years ago and i have no way of getting a copy of the policy. is there anything i can do. thanks, Steve

Copy of Old Policy

Hi Steve, what about approaching the insurance company you used to deal with? They may have a copy on file. But that seems unlikely. You could also try getting an Autoplus report: http://portal.cgi-ibs.com/en-ca/iis/pages/autoplus.aspx Not sure if that will show 20 years ago ...
