My father was dropped from his insurance company because of 7 demerit points and 6 convictions for speeding x 3, no seatbelt, no insurance card x2. His premium for a year would now be around $5000 to $7000. He gave me the car and I insured it, now he says it's no problem if he drives it every once and a while. I told him no and he said where does it say anywhere that I cant drive under your insurance. He just doesn't get it , my insurance rating will be ruined if he drives under my policy like he did when he was dropped by his insurance company. What to do ?

If he drives the car and has an accident it will impact your rates substantially going forward.
If he is listed on your policy it will substantially impact your rates as well.
You can't win other than to convince him he can't drive the cars.
