Not my fault accident

If I was in an accident and didn't cause it, does my insurance go up? also, do I have to pay my deductible?
Not at fault accident and deductible
Hi Johana
If you were hit by someone else and it was determined that they were at fault, then you will most likely not have to pay a deductible. A not at fault accident is covered under Direct Compensation Property Damage (DCPD). Many policies have a $0 deductible for this coverage. But some have a deductible. So it depends on what coverage you bought and whether you were truly not at fault.
Hope that helps
