not charged in accident does insurance go up

If I am in an accident and not charged and have not put in a claim does my insurance go up?
Accident, no Ticket, No Claim
Hi Ann,
If your insurance company never learns about the accident, then there is no way for them to put your rates up. But in many cases they will learn about your accident. For example, if you hit someone else and they put a claim in.
Hope everyone is ok.
