New G2 Driver, can I drive anyone's car?
by Merissa

I am 20 years old, my dad added me onto his car insurance policy here in Hamilton. Am I able to drive my friend's car?
Driving other People's Cars
Hi Merissa,
As long as you are legally licensed to drive in Ontario, and you receive permission from someone to drive their insured car, it's fine. They must have insurance and they accept responsibility for any claims you might have on their policy.
Hope that helps.
