moving to bc
my daughter just moved to bc, and after 39 days got into an accident, when she made a claim it was denied, saying she was only covered for 30 days, but before she moved, she told her insurance that she was moving and they didn't inform her of this. can they cancel her coverage without informing her?
Move to BC, Claim Denied
Hi there,
Sorry to hear this. I hope she's okay.
If the policy is cancelled, a notification is usually sent (it depends on the circumstances). But it could be that the claim was denied simply because of the time frame that she was out of province.
Please be sure to discuss this further with a licensed insurance representative and consider legal advice as well.
