Moving back to Ontario

Hello I'm moving back to Ontario in the new year after living (with a clean driving record) in BC for 2 years. I have a very minor "driving in excess of posted limits" speeding ticket and a running an "amber light" ticket still in dispute here in BC. Will convictions for one or both of these offenses affect my auto insurance rates when I move back to Ontario?

Yes, this will likely affect your rates.
It is highly recommended that you get a letter of experience and abstract before you move. Otherwise your insurer might rate you as if you have not had prior insurance. Which is worse than having experience and two tickets - in most cases.
