Can I Insure a car that is in my husbands name?

Answer


The insurance is supposed to be in the name of the registered owner. To have the insurance in your name only, you'd likely need to have the ownership transferred to your name.

It's best to check with your agent or broker. If you aren't getting good service, maybe it is time to shop around ...
