Insure 1 car with people who live at different residences?
(Windsor, ON, Canada)
My husband and I are separating and will be living in different residences. He holds the registration on the car and the insurance policy is listed under his name with me as an occasional driver. Can we continue to be insured like this if we live in different residences?
PS: we're insured by Unifund via Johnson Insurance
Separated and Sharing a Car
Interesting situation. The most important part of this situation is informing your insurer of the situation. They should be willing to allow this.
