insurance sent a letter cancelling insurance saying the property is unsafe and going to condemn it, with out any notice or inspections?

my grandmother just recieved a letter 2 days ago saying her house insurance was cancelled due to her property being unsafe for people to be on it, no one has came to her house to do a thorough inspection, no insurance people or fire departemnt city inspectors, no one at all, how can they do that without having people come and inspect the house or property? dont they have to have people inspect the house and property and then give a list and time period to have things fixed?

They need to base the cancellation on something and should have proof. That's the normal practice. It seems to me that there is a piece of information missing.

This question is from quite awhile ago. I would be interested to hear how things worked out ...
