Insurance on G2 Drivers

If I have my G2 and have insurance on my car as particial driver with my parents, do I have to ask for permission to take teh car because of legal reasons?

IF you have a G2, and are listed on your parents policy as an occasional driver, you can drive the vehicle. But you do need their permission.
