I am 18 and i had an accident and i am trying to find out how much my insurance would be after an accident. how much does your insurance go up by after an accident and you are at fault.??

Hi Byron,
The answer depends on a several factors:

What your driving record was already: If you had driver training you could be driving record 3 which could be reduced to 0 due to the accident (the rating you had when you first got licensed (G2). This would be a very substantial increase

If you also got a ticket (that will increase the rates)

If you have a G or G2 could make a difference

If you were at Driving 0 or 1 then the increase won't be as big

Expect a substantial increase and hope for the best. It depends on the circumstances above and your insurance company's rates.
