I only received a ticket for a DUI I didn't get demaret points or charged or a court date. So why can't I get innsurance

Hi I received a ticket for driving under some influence. The officer told me that she was going to give me a ticket. I paid it off within two days. I never received a charge nor a demarit points I didn't have a court date. Is their anyway that this can be taken off my record. Or something to that affect?
