I only received a ticket for a DUI I didn't get demaret points or charged or a court date. So why can't I get innsurance

Hi I received a ticket for driving under some influence. The officer told me that she was going to give me a ticket. I paid it off within two days. I never received a charge nor a demarit points I didn't have a court date. Is their anyway that this can be taken off my record. Or something to that affect? I am trying to get insurance but I don't know what to tell them! If you could please help me. That would be great. Thanks so much

I wonder what the exact charge was? If you were 0.8 or higher the charge is severe. If you were in the 05 - 0.8 the charge is less severe. It is important to be clear with the insurers what the actual charge was. If you're not sure. Find out. And then get quotes here:
