I hit a parked car parked in front of my driveway, i have a hard time getting out of my driveway street is very narrow. how my driveway is , i hit it and told the person. i called my insurance and i was told it is a claim even if the person doesnt need their car fixed. the person told me it was not enough damage so their not going to bother fixing it. but my insurance said its a claim because i called them and told then i done it. i have a good record. will i have high insurance now or can they not use it as a claim since no car is being repaired. no police report was done and I am a little worried insurance is going to use a non pay out claim on my record. just what happens now?
Claim with No Payout
Hi Lisa
Situations like this are very frustrating. No payout yet your record is impacted.
An at-fault accident will increase your rates.
Sorry to give you bad news
