grow house

by Christine S
(whitby, ontario)

Do you insure homes that are selling as "grow houses"?

Insuring a Former Grow Op

Hi Christine
www.canada-insurance-source.com is not an insurance company or brokerage. Just a source of information from a former brokers point of view. We do suggest getting quotes here:

Compare home insurance quotes through Kanetix.ca - save time and money!

It will be difficult to get many quotes on a former grow op.

Very difficult. Get an inspection from a certified contractor, and an inspection from the city to make sure the hosue is no longer affected by such use. then you might have better luck. but its very difficult. and alot of insurance companies and brokerages will automatically say no. try direct insurance companies like Allstate and Co-opperatives. as these have alittle more play. Brokers have to follow the rules to a T.
