I'm a G2 driver and I just got a speeding ticket for going 20 over, how badly will it affect my insurance? G2 Driver and TicketHi Mandee, One ticket will not affect your rates too badly. A second will, and a third will double or triple your rates. So drive carefully for the next three years (when the ticket "comes off" your record).
