drunk driving and insurance rates

my brother-in-law got charged with drunk drinking. He has that blow into bar in his vehicle he seems to think that his rates will not go up because he isn't going to tell the insurance company. I disagree with him. When his premiums are due doesn't the insurance company check his driving record. Drunk Driving and Insurance PremiumsHi Diane You are right. When his policy renews he will be canceled. He will have to go to a high risk insurer for several years and the premiums will be much higher than he pays now (double or triple if he's lucky, but probably higher) Sorry to give such bad news!
