Driver's Licence is under suspension for DUI

I have lost my driver's license for DUI does the insurance expire? I wanted to have a friend drive me around would that be alright?

Canada Insurance Source Reply

Your insurer will probably cancel your coverage and you'll have to switch to a high risk carrier with your friend as a primary driver.

Even if your insurer does not cancel you, you should add your friend as a primary driver because a licensed driver needs to be on the policy.
