by dakota
i live with my mom and she is a primary driver on her truck. what happens if i am caught driving her truck without being put on as an occasional driver. and another scenario, what if i was insured under my moms vehicle as an occasional driver, but i drove my dads (who i do not live with)
Teenage Driver on Parents Insurance?
Hi Dakota
You absolutely need to be on the policy of the parent you live with. If you also drive your dad's policy on a regular basis your insurer will probably want you listed on his policy as well (although the insurer might not mind if you are already listed on another policy i.e. your moms).
