Does Change of Address changes insurance premiums?
(Ontario, Canada)
When I change my address is the insurance company likely to check my driving record or change my premiums?
Change in Insurance Premiums After a Move
Hi there,
A move can trigger a change in premiums. That could be higher or lower, depending on the area where you live and where you move to. As an example, if you move out of Toronto, to just about anywhere else in Ontario, your rates are likely to go down.
As for checking your driving record, that usually occurs at renewal.
Hope that helps
