Denied Insurance

by Brenda
(Timmins Canada)

Can a new policy holder be denied due to the fact that a second driver was on old policy with another company because he did not have that person license number? Even though that person does not wish to be on his new policy coverage?

Denied Ontario Auto Insurance

Hi Brenda,
It's not clear if you mean a claim was denied to the policy you bought was rejected. It seems like the latter.

An application for insurance can be denied if the insurer believes that facts have been omitted. This seems to be the case.

It's probably best to shop around. Try getting a quote here:

Best of luck!
