Coverage not required last 5 years

I have had insurance in Ontario Canada for over 30 years but have not required personal auto insurance for last 5 years.

Now require auto insurance, is it like starting from "0"?

If you were listed on any policy during the past five years it will make it easier for you.

However, as long as you had prior coverage in Ontario you should not be forced to start at a 0 driving record. You should be given full credit for your years of experience
