by holly
(victoria, british columbia, canada)
I got a DUI 3 years ago in ontario, and i did my back on track course, and paid my fine. I have had my licence back since august of 2010. and i just recently moved to british columbia, and i want to switch my licence over. but i do have a condition on it that i have to have a breathilyzer in it till august of 2011. So how would i go about changing my licence over shouldi wait till august ? or get it now? will it be on my record, and will it effect my licence here.
Insurance in BC
Hi Holly,
Your insurance rates would probably be better if you waited until August to get insurance. As for your license, in most provinces you need to switch it within 30-60 days. Check with your local licensing bureau.
By the way, are your rates too high? Check here:
