Car ownership under my name,
by Liane
(Ontario, Canada)
My husband bought a vehicle for me and it is in my name.
Can he be the sole insured? I will not drive the car until one of my accidents (5 years ago) is withdrawn from my 'record' At that time my insurance should be lower. I am considered hi risk because of 2 at fault accidents, 1 in 2005 and 1 in 2006.
Listed Drivers
Hi Liane
Most, if not all insurers, will insist that you are listed on the policy. If you can find one that will list you as secondary driver, that will help alot. The accidents are older, so if you have nothing else on your record it might be time to shop around again. Try here:
