cancelled life insurance
by DOUG
(Kawartha Lakes,Canada)
My wife and I went south this winter for the
first time. She believed that the policy that we
had for many years was payed to date whem we left.
We did not have our mail forwarded as we make our
bills through the internet
When we came home in the Spring we discovered that
the policy was cancelled and the insurance
company had notified us of our grace period which
had also expired by several weeks.
Do we have any recourse
Thanks
Expired Life Insurance
Hi Doug
You can ask for a reinstatement. It will probably be dependent on you being in good health. But call the insurer to see if they will offer a reinstatement.
