Cancellation of policy due to nonpayment
by jennifer
(london ontario canada)
I have not been driving for about 4 years. I had a policy cancellation because of nonpayment, husband was on policy and when we broke up he would not sign so I could not cancel, I had to just let payments go. He was an alcoholic and didn't have a license. Will I have a problem getting insurance coverage for an automobile? Will my rating begin at zero again, I have never had an accident or any tickets, when I had policy cancelled I was a 6 star rating.
Regards,
Jenn

Hi Jenn
The non-payment will affect your rates. The severity depends on your insurer. If you didn't kept your license that will also affect you.
