Insurance Canceled After Non-Payment

Hi there,
Of course you can still get coverage. If the accident was at fault, it will be more expensive than before. And some insurers will not offer monthly payments due to your cancellation for non-payment.

Insurance mafia.
by: Anonymous ( Victom of same off conditions)

Being a new immigrant many faces financial problems, I am one of them due to which I could not pay my insurance. I had a speeding ticket for driving 60kms in 50kms zone. now I am being offered 400 per month/=

I have been told that even if I pay back my dues, my non payment record will be maintained for 13 years. This punishment are not even given in criminal offences. It is just that the Government & Insurance compies are hand in hand to black mail the Public. our parlimentarian should bring in the law to ensure that fair deal is done by the insurance companies.

Ya, cancel for non-pay is a big hit on your insurance history, keep looking, try different brokerages, they might still be high polcies as it sounds like he also has some minor convictions. but they may allow monthly oayments. but hes still looking at around $450-600 a month. Its a terrible situation for a young driver to have any type of issues with insurance like cancel for non-pay and tickets, even without those things young drivers are looking at 200-300 a month. get your son to some defensive driving courses and attempt to get him as many discounts as possible. gett CAA, whatever it takes to get that premium down.

Already checked with Kentix

Ya, we tried Kentix and they found us a quote, 6 grand for having 3 very minor tickets, no accidents at all, but because my son had 2 non payment cancellations, cause he was struggling to pay 575.00 a month, they wanted the money up front he could pay 1/2 or all, what teenager has 3 or even 6 grand just sitting in their bank account, not many unless mommy and daddy pay for it...
