Can we keep existing insurance on a deceased persons vehicle?

My brother recently died and his car is insured. His spouse does not have a drivers licence. Will we be able to carry on with the insurance in his name and the title or is that illegal. The insurance is valid for 9 more months.
Deceased Brother's Car Insurance
Hi there,
You should call the auto insurance company and let them know. They will put the car into the "estate of" your brother and will want to list the drivers of the vehicle on the policy.
Some insurers might not like this situation. But it's always best to have the conversation.
