Can my son drive ny car uninsured, and he has a DUI charge
by Martins
(Toronto, Ontario, Canada)
My son only recently got his licence back from a DUI charge, and a speeding ticket.
(his licence was suspended for a year).
Can he drive my car regularly without being added to the insurance? I've been told that if he lives with me than he cannot, whereas if he lives at another address than yes.
If the answer is that he cannot drive my car uninsured, please can you recommend companies who deal with this type of high risk insurance. Many thanks.

If he drives regularly he needs to be listed on a policy. There are several high risk company's to choose from and each situation is different. If you can't get one, ask for facility Association.
