Hi,
I am incredibly discouraged. I have started looking into car insurance prices for myself. I am a 39 year old female in Ontario, currently just started going through Young Drivers of Canada's comprehensive program, just currently have my G1 and know I have to wait 12 months to pass the drive test for G2. I am aware currently I will need someone with full G license to be with me when driving during the 12 month period.
I need a car and have been looking at older models with lower mileage and good condition, reliable and good fuel usage (such as 2007 Civic Hatchback)and went to an online quote engine which apparently brings up to 16 best insurances companies prices. I got one with the quote of $5999 to $9999 a year! Who can afford this? I was told by people that the fact I am older (not a teenager), going through Young Drivers of Canada program which is recognized, female that my rates should not be too bad! Well a $500 to $800+ month insurance quote I can't afford!!! Is there hope here??
Depressed and frustrated.
G1 And Insurance Quotes
is the quote based on a G1 or G2? All you can do is shop around, and consider a slightly older model.
Please be sure to discuss this further with a licensed insurance representative. Oh, and by the way, are your rates too high? Check here:
